Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Root Extract
A common root used around the world for many medicinal purposes, the condensed extract is even more powerful. Ginger has been shown to increase luteinizing hormone levels by 43% and FSH by 27%. Luteinizing hormone helps to stimulate Leydig cells in the testes to produce testosterone, which acts locally to support sperm production. Several studies in rats have also found that ginger has positive effects on testosterone levels and sexual function. In one 30-day study, researchers discovered that ginger increased testosterone and luteinizing hormone in rats.23
Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) Seed Extract (50% saponins)
A herb cultivated in various eastern countries from Mediterranean to Asia, Fenugreek has been used since Egyptian times as a herb and for medicinal purposes for a variety of ailments. Several physiological health benefits of fenugreek seeds have been experimentally validated in animal and human studies in recent decades. Tribulus refers to the spiky fruits from a plant native to Southern Europe, Southern Asia, Africa and Australia. It was also used as a treatment for female infertility, impotence, and low libido in both men and women. Studies performed in Bulgaria show that tribulus increases levels of various hormones in the steroid family, including testosterone.26
Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium sagittatum) Extract (Aerial Parts)
This powerful plant received its name from a herder who noticed his goats becoming more sexually active after eating it. Horny Goat Weed’s use as a medicinal herb dates back to at least 400 A.D., where it was used as a tonic for the reproductive system to boost libido, treat impotence and increase energy. Studies in mice have shown an increased testosterone level after administering plant extracts and other rodent trials have shown a decrease in levels of cortisol, a stress hormone that can depress the sex drive. 29

Shilajit is a sticky substance found primarily in the rocks of the Himalayas. It develops over centuries from the slow decomposition of plants. One clinical study showed that participants who took purified shilajit had a significantly higher testosterone level compared to the placebo group. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) Root Extract

Vitamin D3
Cholecalciferol is a biological precursor that serves as a storage form of active vitamin D (calcitriol) - an important regulator of calcium and phosphorus balance in the body. Several studies have shown there’s a strong association between low vitamin D3 and testosterone deficiency in males, likely related to vitamin D action on androgen receptors (vitamin D is a secosteroid hormone that modulates the endocrine system). On the flip side, men with higher vitamin D3 levels have higher testosterone levels. One study showed that a year of daily vitamin D3 supplementation (3,332 IU per day) increased total and free testosterone by an average of 33% and 21%, respectively, in healthy adult men.1, 2, 3
Niacin, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin B12
These B vitamins are especially important for healthy cognitive function and cellular metabolism, among a myriad of other actions in the body. Research shows that deficiency in niacin, vitamin B12, and/or vitamin B6 significantly increases the risk of neurodegenerative disease, depression, metabolic dysfunction, and mood disorders, all of which can negatively impact muscle building, fat loss, and testosterone production.4, 5

A recent study showed that DAA increased levels of testosterone and LH by 15% and 42%, respectively, when taken over a 12-day period. LH is an important hormone that signals the testes to produce testosterone - a process that tends to decline as we age.
